From 16 to 17 April last year, the “CAP GREEN Forum” was held. This meeting provided an opportunity to discuss investments and financing the green economy in the context of the transition to renewable energies.

The CAP GREEN Forum was organized under the collaboration between the General Confederation of Enterprises of Côte d'Ivoire (CGECI) and Africa Energy Transition Service (AETS). The theme of this edition is “Cape Green, from vision to transition: structuring and accelerating green financing and investment mechanisms”. The vice-president of the CGECI said that this forum aims to bring together all major players around a forum, which will serve both as a catalyst for exchanges to better understand the challenges and better act for the ecological transition. The meetings, which lasted two days, were marked by panels and sectoral workshops led by experts. The themes concern, among others, climate transition for the private sector in developing countries, green bonds and green loans, carbon credits, agro-industry facing the challenges of decarbonization, ecological infrastructures and adapted green financial levers
